An accomplished makeup artist, Tamar Levy discovered her love for makeup at a young age and has since worked to pursue her dream in makeup artistry. She has been honing her makeup skills since the age of 12, applying makeup on family and friends. She then perfected her skills by attending and graduating from a professional Los Angeles based makeup school and now serves as a professional makeup artist in the wedding, media and fashion fields.

Tamar’s love and passion for makeup came from a combination of her creativity and interest in art. “I love being creative and trying new looks. Makeup for me is a form of art. When I apply makeup, the face becomes 3D canvas. Since each canvas is unique in its own way, it will not look right with just any paint. I feel that the secret to creating a beautiful work of art is to match each unique canvas with suitable paint.”

Tamar creates each look with her client’s personal style and individuality in mind, emphasizing the natural beauty in each face with artfully crafted makeup. Her philosophy is that makeup should only enhance beauty and not overpower it. “The trick is to bring out our best features with makeup while still staying true to ourselves.”
